2011 The Farm Bureau Excellence in Agriculture Award Program is designed as an opportunity for young farmers and ranchers, while actively contributing and growing through their involvement in Farm Bureau and agriculture, to earn recognition. Participants will be judged on their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations (i.e., civic, service and community). |

The West Virginia Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee provides opportunities for women to become involved in all aspects of Farm Bureau, as they add a vital perspective to the organization. Specific areas of focus are: developing leaders, promoting and educating others about agriculture, and influencing the political process.

The West Virginia Farm Bureau Safety Program serves as a resource to members to increase awareness of agricultural safety and health. While agriculture is one of the most dangerous industries in the U.S., education plays an important role in reducing injuries on the farm. WVFB sponsors Safety Day Camps, seminars and other activities throughout the year.
