Taste of West Virginia reception to be held during Ag & Forestry Day at the Legislature

BUCKHANNON, WV –The West Virginia Farm Bureau and the West Virginia Forestry Association will hold a "Taste of West Virginia" reception during the annual Ag and Forestry Day at the Legislature on February 6, 2008.

The annual Day at the Legislature gives members of both groups an opportunity to meet with their legislators and discuss issues of concern to lawmakers and constituents alike.

Featuring delectable goodies from all over West Virginia, the reception showcases the best of West Virginia producers for state legislators and their guests. Some of the treats include chocolates, beef, pork, poultry, bison, venison, jams and jellies, and a variety of fruits and vegetables. The reception gets underway at the Charleston House Holiday Inn at 6 pm.
